The museum resides in the old postmasters' building which was built in 1903. Since then it has been extended and renovated. In 1984, the then autonomous Rehoboth government decided to establish a museum, which opened its doors in 1986. Currently the museum is governed by a Board of Trustees appointed by the Rehoboth Town Council. | ||||
